Unfortunately, I was sold on the photos and later came across some misleading advertising. The room shown in the photo is exactly the same. Excellent room. I loved it. But I was really hoping the garden with the chairs in the photo would be in the same location… facing the lake… and that wasn't quite the case. The garden is about 200-300 meters away in a different area. It does face the lake, but it's quite neglected. Regarding the bedroom, everything went well. I was pleased to have to remove my shoes before going to the room. The lady welcomed us warmly. I just really don't think it's worth the price. And I personally didn't see anything extraordinary in person like I saw in the photos.

This is an Airbnb style of hotel but it is very expensive to what it offers. The apartments are fully equipped with kitchen. I stayed in a private suite that had no curtain in a part of the room and my wife and I woke up super early every day (see picture enclosed, behind the lamp). Hallstatt Hideaway is located in a street in a hill, and you will need to go through many steps to your room. Views are not nice. You can see the lake with many roofs in between. Hallstatt Hideaway offers a garden, which is a 15 minute walk from the main place. There is no restaurant in the place. Unless you plan to stay in a historical building you'd better stay somewhere else, as in the hotels in Hallstatt. It was disappointing for us for how much we paid (and expected) for.
